The value of balance of work life and personal wellbeing;

A person is juggling between work and personal life. I would say that there are 5 balls. Work, health, friends, family and good psychology. Work life of the people usually is 8 hours a day from Monday to Friday. As many did, I would characterise it as well, being a rubber ball that falls and bounces back.

Personal life is constituted by the other 4 balls, which is the main reason of our wellbeing. Our spirit; we have to be stress free and happy to be able to live our lives as best as we can; have good friends to be by us to our good and bad moments, have our health to be able to live all the good things that life gives us, and also keep our family happy and by our side, to give us strength.

To be able to go to work and survive all the good or bad stress that comes with work and to accomplish all the tasks that entail the concept of work, more important is for us to have wellbeing and have a personal life that we will not want to change it for anything in the world.

Work, is supposed to come second to health and personal wellbeing. A balance of work and personal wellbeing would be the greatest recipe. The value of this balance, giving personal wellbeing a slight priority is more than anything in my point of view.

If we lose work, we can find another, even if it is very difficult to do so. If we lose our family, our friends, health or our good psychology, it is devastating! We cannot replace those values, and we will not be able to find work either. We are losing everything, in so very little time!!
